Operation Christmas Child

AlleyKids/Teens are joining forces to fill boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Can you help us in our effort to share the Gospel around the world?
AlleyKids/Teens will gather during the education hour on November 22 to fill, decorate, and pray over boxes that will be distributed by Operation Christmas Child. |
Get involved by:
- Selecting an item or two to include in the AlleyKids/Teens box packing event (see suggestions below) – send items along to AlleyKids/Teens between now and November 22
- Packing a box as a family—grab a brochure from the lobby, use enclosed labels, & drop off in the lobby between now and November 22
- Praying for the children who will receive our boxes
Gift Box Ideas:
- TOYS
small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch®, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky®, etc. - SCHOOL SUPPLIES
pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc. - HYGIENE ITEMS
toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), comb, washcloth, etc. - OTHER
Hard candy and lollipops (please double bag all candy), mints, gum, T-shirts, socks, ball caps; sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries) - DO NOT INCLUDE:
Used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snowglobes or glass containers; aerosol cans

How to subscibe to theAlley’s podcast:
1. First of all you will need iTunes, if you do not have iTunes you can download it here.
2. Once you have iTunes downloaded and installed open it up. It should look something like this:

3. Go to the “Advanced” menu found at the top of the window and select “Subscibe to Podcast…”

4. Enter the URL for our xml feed [ http://www.thealley.org/podcast.xml ] and click “OK”::

5. iTunes will now take you to your Podcast section and it will begin downloading the available content:
