Below are prayer requests that have come to our attention. We encourage you to incorporate these prayers into your devotional/prayer time. If you have a prayer request that you would like us to either add to this page or if you’d like a pastor to pray for you, you can complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Please pray for a very lost and hurting soul, named David. He is my cousin’s son who is 28 yrs old, and has had a life plagued with pain. He has been fighting the pain with anything BUT God, and now his world is falling apart piece by piece, yet he still refuses to turn to Him. His mom, my cousin, is a Christian, and has asked us to pray for David according to 2 Cor. 4: 4-6… that the light of Christ would shine in David’s heart to give him the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. THEN he will know the healing power of God and grace and peace through Jesus Christ. They are also praying over Psalm 18 for him.
Please pray for our friend Kayla Pivec who is having surgery to repair hear ear drum and ear canal on December 23.
Please pray for a church family that is building a new sanctuary in St Paul Park. The building project collapsed on Wendsday night, around 2am. The people helping on the project had just finished installing the rafters/ roof trusses the that evening. The church has limited funds and are trying to do most of the work themselves. Pray their spirits are lifted and they recieve the help they need. And also praise and thankfulness that no one was injured during the collapse. The church is on Hastings ave accross from the bowling ave.
Please, Please say Prayers for our neighbor David who has suffured a massive stroke. Please pray for him and his family.
Please pray for David Modder, his wife Jennifer, and their 4 children. They have planted a church in the Seward neighborhood of Mpls. They are in year 2 and arestruggling. They have lost many key members and are very discouraged. Please pray that the Lord would renew their strength and their passion for the Truth. Pray that the Lord would bring others around them to encourage them, and take some of the burden. And if the Lord has different plans for them, that he would lead them to those opportunities. They have a heart for the Somali community. They are such a sweet family – May God bless them!
Please pray for my (Dave Hegg) sister Judy Speers. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is begining treatment this week.
Please pray for Jessie’s World Venture assignment to teach English in Japan this school year. Pray her VISA will process quickly, and also financial needs will be met. Pray Jessie will be personally prepared for her teaching assignment, and fit well with the students and pastor. May the Lord perfect all that pertains to this mission for His glory.
Job Searches, Business and the Economy For those currently without a job and searching for employment we ask for guidance and pray for patience and the right job to come available. We lift up businesses and pray for God’s presence in the hearts and minds of our nation’s leaders.
